A Sunny Day

Today it is sunny, my worries are free, 

I am full with the warmth, I can finally see...

The dark shades and dark shadows from past days are gone,

Now only brightness comes down from the sun...

So bright, and so warm and so hard to resist,

It is also so hard to watch long...

The trees soak it in as I watch the warm world,

The light of God's spirit is here, I can feel it...

At last I am warm, I am here, I am found, 

  At last I am free and I can't here a sound,

        I know there is life and goodness around,

            And at last I know how comfort is found...
